Since 2006, Stephanie Lenox has been a co-editor of Blood Orange Review, a quarterly journal of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and art
She is a visiting professor at Willamette University teaching poetry writing. She is working on a poetry collection. With the help of an Artist Fellowship grant from the Oregon Arts Commission she is writing new poems inspired by her children's birth and tracing her own literary lineage.
She will be appearing in McMinnville on Thursday, February 6th. to read some of her poems.
She talked about her work and read her poem "The Heart Lies Outside the Body" last year at the Linfield College's Nicholson Library. We are fortunate. Meadowlake Studios was able to film her at the event. After you see and listen, you will want to come and see and hear her in person.
The Poetry Night is also an open mic venue for poets to read their work.
