It is true that potters get old, but that pottery can be ageless. When you look at Peter's work the craftsmanship and elegance of his pottery tells you something about the long traditions of ceramic art.
When you are artist new to the Yamhill County Art Harvest Studio Tour sometimes it is hard to get folks to see you, to see your work and to hear you talk about it. The Arts Alliance of Yamhill County has for many years sponsored Arts Alive TV hosted by Lynda Phillippi. Arts Alive TV is an Arts and Culture talk show broadcast on McMinnville Community Media (Comcast Channel 11 and Frontier 29). The shows are also posted on the Arts Alive Youtube Channel. Art Harvest Studio Tour, long time ceramic artist, and art professor Peter Snow appeared on Arts Alive TV and he talked with Lynda Phillippi about his work and the Tour. He will be showing with Wes Cropper at Wes' studio in Newberg.
